Frankfort, Ky. (February 2^nd, 2005 - Listed below are the upcoming meetings involving the Cabinet for Economic Development:

• The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) will meet on Thursday, February 24, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the ground floor auditorium of the Capital Plaza Tower, 500 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky.
• The Bluegrass State Skills Corporation (BSSC) Board of Directors will meet on Friday, February 25, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in Room 112 of Kentucky Community and Technical College Systems (KCTCS), 300 North Main Street, Versailles, Kentucky.

The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development is the primary state agency in Kentucky responsible for creating new jobs and new investment in the state. New business investment in Kentucky in 2003 totaled more than $1.56 billion with the creation of just over 13,800 new jobs.
