Frankfort, Ky. (January 4, 2005) - Listed below are the upcoming meetings involving the Cabinet for Economic Development:

• The Kentucky Enterprise Zone Authority (KEZA) will meet on Friday, January 14, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in the 24th Floor Conference Room of the Capital Plaza Tower, 500 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky.
• The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) will meet on Thursday, January 27, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the ground floor auditorium of the Capital Plaza Tower, 500 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky.

The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development is the primary state agency in Kentucky responsible for creating new jobs and new investment in the state. New business investment in Kentucky in 2003 totaled more than $1.56 billion with the creation of just over 13,800 new jobs.
