MEETING NOTICE

Frankfort, Ky. (September 3^rd, 2004 - The following is a list of upcoming meetings involving the Cabinet for Economic Development:

• The Bluegrass State Skills Corporation (BSSC) Board of Directors will meet on Friday, September 24, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Kentucky Correctional Industries, 1041 Leestown Road, Frankfort, Kentucky.
• The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) will meet on Thursday, September 30, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at 500 Mero Street, Capital Plaza Tower, Ground Level Auditorium, Frankfort, Kentucky.

The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development is the primary state agency in Kentucky responsible for creating new jobs and new investment in the state. New business investment in Kentucky in 2003 totaled more than $1.56 billion with the creation of just over 13,800 new jobs.
