The following is a list of upcoming meetings involving the Cabinet for Economic Development:

• The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) will meet on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at 500 Mero Street, Capital Plaza Tower, Ground Level Auditorium, Frankfort, Kentucky. 
• The Bluegrass State Skills Corporation (BSSC) Board of Directors will meet on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Kentucky Correctional Industries Building, 1041 Leestown Road, Frankfort, Kentucky.  

The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development is the primary state agency in Kentucky responsible for creating new jobs and new investment in the state. New business investment in Kentucky in 2003 totaled more than $1.56 billion with the creation of just over 13,800 new jobs.
