HARDIN DELIVERY, INC. ANNOUNCES EXPANSION IN RADCLIFF Governor Paul E. Patton commended officials from Hardin Delivery, Inc. on the decision to undertake a $175,000 expansion of its trucking/logistics facility in Radcliff. The company currently maintains 62 full time jobs and anticipates the creation of 10 additional jobs upon completion of the expansion. Hardin Delivery now operates out of 17,250 square feet of leased space and is proposing to lease a yet to be constructed 12,000 square foot warehouse building adjacent to its existing terminal. The announcement was made on Thursday in Frankfort. "Once again, the quality of our workforce has brought new jobs to Kentucky," stated Governor Patton. "We have statistics from the U. S. Bureau of Economic Analysis showing Kentucky's workforce as 6% above the U.S. average in gross state product per wage. We appreciate our workers, and we appreciate the confidence that Hardin Delivery has placed in them and in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Sheila Enyart, Mayor of the City of Radcliff agreed with Secretary Strong's support of Harden Delivery, Inc. She said, "Myself, the Radcliff City Council and the Radcliff community are supportive of Hardin Delivery Inc., and will assist in any way we can to help with this expansion. We realize that success brings more success for the economic area." Hardin Delivery has provided customers with dedicated logistic service since 1960. In the initial years, Hardin Delivery's primary service was moving household goods. In 1985 Hardin Delivery began delivering local truckload merchandise to retail stores. Today Hardin Delivery's business reflects a strong commitment to servicing its major customer base: Shoe Carnival, Linens-N-Things, and Office Depot, while building new customers and capabilities. "We know and understand this business. We have built national connections with 3PL companies allowing us to move across the country as required to service our customers, stated Randy Carlton, Vice President of Hardin Delivery, Inc. "We are a strong company with a bright future seeking new business opportunities."
