Regional Offices

Located in Prestonsburg, Madisonville and Frankfort, the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development's three regional divisions uniquely serve Kentucky's existing businesses. Ten development specialists work exclusively in assigned territories of about a dozen counties each. Their strategic placement allows these Development Specialists to become familiar with area businesses, communities and local leaders, and to offer the following assistance.

  • Ongoing statewide industry visitation program
  • Access to financial and loan incentive programs for job creation and expansion activities
  • Identification of concerns that may inhibit growth of a company such as infrastructure, environmental, labor, transportation or regulatory issues.
