Community Economic Development Education Seminars Offered
The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development will be conducting a series of education seminars across the state this July for community economic development leaders. The workshops, entitled “Bringing Business to Your Community”, is an effort to introduce community professionals to Cabinet resources and provide a “how to” program for working with economic development prospects.
Cabinet officials representing the Department for New Business Development, the Department for Existing Business Development, the Department of Commercialization and Innovation, and the Division of Research and Site Evaluation will make presentations designed to educate community members on the resources available in each department and the best way to contact and work with the Cabinet. Newly appointed Secretary John Hindman is also tentatively scheduled to be in attendance to address seminar registrants.
