Kentucky To Exhibit at BIO 2006

The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development will have a major presence at BIO
2006, April 9-12 in Chicago at McCormick Place. Kentucky's participation at the
annual biotechnology convention is designed to market Kentucky's resources and
opportunities for bioscience and biotechnology companies to the more than
18,000 attendees, including heads of state, congressional leaders, scientists,
entrepreneurs, and executives of biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
The BIO 2006 Kentucky exhibit will be 800 sq. ft., which is twice as large as
was the exhibit in 2005. This year Kentucky will be a major sponsor at BIO
2006, which includes co-sponsoring the Welcoming Reception on Sunday, April
9th. Held at Chicago's Navy Pier, the reception will be attended by the media
and an estimated 3,000 attendees from around the world.
