Kentucky has implemented a program that matches both Phase 1 and Phase 2 federal SBIR and STTR
awards to our high-tech small businesses.
If you are an SBIR or STTR awardee from Kentucky, or are willing to relocate to Kentucky, you can
apply for funds from the commonwealth to match your federal SBIR-STTR awards.
Round 14 of the Kentucky SBIR-STTR Matching Funds Program will open on January 1, 2012.
Additional solicitations are planned. The amount of funds available for awards each time will be determined by the Cabinet for Economic Development.
The Kentucky SBIR-STTR Matching Funds Program will accept applications for Round 14 between January 1, 2012, and January 31, 2012. The deadline
to submit an application is 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on January 31, 2012. The awards process will be competitive and include an external review.
Program guidelines for the upcoming solicitation have been revised and are now posted on the Kentucky SBIR-STTR Matching Funds application website.
Visit the
SBIR-STTR Online Application and Reporting System to apply for Phase1 and Phase 2 Matching Funds, or to
download a copy of the guidelines.
