Kentucky SBIR-STTR Matching Funds Program

Kentucky is implementing a program that will match both Phase 1 and Phase 2 Federal SBIR and STTR awards to our high-tech small businesses – no other state has a program designed to do just that.

If you are an SBIR or STTR awardee from Kentucky, or are willing to relocate to Kentucky, you could apply for funds from the commonwealth to match your federal SBIR-STTR awards.

Round Two is now open for applications. Visit the SBIR-STTR Online Application and Reporting System to apply.

Only online applications will be accepted.

The solicitation will be open from 19 July 2007 until 30 May 2008 or until funds are exhausted.

NEW NOTICE !

1. Phase I SBIR-STTR funding for the current solicitation (Round 2) is still available for those applicants that have received a Phase I federal award letter after January 1, 2007. Applications are being accepted and approved for Phase I Kentucky Matching Funds Grants in the order of receipt.

2. All Phase II SBIR-STTR funding for the current solicitation (Round 2) has been exhausted.

However; KSTC will continue to accept and approve Phase II applications for applicants with federal award letters dated after January 1, 2008.

Funding for Round 3 (July 2008-June 2009) is anticipated to be available for disbursement beginning around July 1, 2008. Contingent upon Round 3 funds being available, applications for these funds will be processed and approved in order of receipt.
